This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds, returns, or exchanges may be considered for purchases made from Joys Boutique (“we”, “our”, “us”). By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.

1. Nature of Our Products

Joys Boutique specializes in custom-made, made-to-measure, and made-to-order garments, including wedding gowns, bridal wear, communion gowns, baptism dresses, bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses, party wear, and coordinated outfits.

Due to the personalized and handcrafted nature of our products, refunds and returns are limited and governed strictly by the terms below.

2. Advance Payments
  • All orders require a non-refundable advance payment to confirm the order and initiate production.
  • The advance amount covers design consultation, fabric procurement, pattern development, and production scheduling.

Advance payments are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including order cancellation, event cancellation, or change of mind.

3. Custom & Made-to-Order Products
  • No refunds, returns, or exchanges are permitted for custom-made, customized, or made-to-measure garments.
  • Once production has commenced, orders cannot be cancelled or modified.
  • Minor variations in color, fabric texture, embroidery, beadwork, or finishing are natural and shall not be considered defects.

4. Ready-to-Wear Products

  • Refunds are not provided for ready-to-wear items.
  • Exchanges may be permitted only if explicitly agreed at the time of purchase and subject to:
    • Product being unused, unwashed, and in original condition
    • Original tags, packaging, and invoice being intact
    • Exchange request being made within 48 hours of delivery or purchase

Exchange approval is at the sole discretion of Joys Boutique.

5. Measurement-Related Issues

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements when opting for self-submitted measurements.
  • Joys Boutique shall not be liable for fit issues arising from incorrect or outdated measurements provided by the customer.
  • Fit concerns due to customer-provided measurements do not qualify for refunds or returns.
6. Alterations
  • Minor alterations, if applicable, may be offered at our discretion.
  • Additional or extensive alterations may incur extra charges.
  • Requests for alterations do not entitle the customer to a refund.

7. Defective or Damaged Products

  • In the rare event of a manufacturing defect:

    • Customers must notify Joys Boutique within 48 hours of delivery.
    • Clear photographic or video evidence must be provided.
    • Upon verification, Joys Boutique may, at its discretion:
      • Repair the defect, or
      • Offer a replacement (subject to feasibility)

    Refunds will be issued only if repair or replacement is not possible, and such decision shall rest solely with Joys Boutique.

8. Shipping & Transit Issues
  • Joys Boutique is not responsible for delays, damage, or loss caused by third-party courier services.
  • Any visible damage must be reported to the courier partner at the time of delivery and informed to Joys Boutique within 24 hours.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.

9. International Orders

  • All international orders are final and non-refundable.
  • Customs duties, taxes, and import charges are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Delays due to customs clearance do not qualify for refunds.

10. Event Cancellations

Cancellations or postponements of weddings, communions, parties, or other events do not qualify for refunds, as production is based on confirmed timelines and specifications.

11. Mode of Refund (If Applicable)

  • Approved refunds, if any, will be processed via the original mode of payment.
  • Refund processing timelines may range from 7–14 business days, depending on banking channels.

12. Policy Amendments

Joys Boutique reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The latest version will be available on our website.
