At Joys Boutique, we strive to ensure that every outfit you purchase fits well and meets your expectations. Our Exchange Policy outlines when and how exchanges can be made.
1. Eligibility for Exchange
Exchanges are only applicable for ready-made products.
You may request an exchange if:
- The product does not fit
- You want a different size (subject to availability)
- You want to exchange for another ready-made item of similar value
Exchange Conditions:
To be eligible for an exchange, the item must be:
- Unused and unworn
- Unaltered and unwashed
- Free from perfume, stains, or damage
- Returned with original packaging, labels, and tags intact
- Returned within 10 days of delivery (usually 3–7 days)
Items failing to meet these conditions will not be accepted.
2. Non-Exchangeable Items
The following items cannot be exchanged:
- Custom-made outfits
- Made-to-order gowns
- Altered garments
- Accessories
- Discounted or sale items
- Items marked as “Final Sale”
- Products damaged after delivery due to mishandling
This ensures fairness and hygiene for all customers.
3. Size Exchange
If a different size is required:
- Size availability will be checked before confirming the exchange
- If the new size is not available, you may choose another ready-made outfit of equal or higher value
- If the new product is of higher value, the difference must be paid
4. Exchange for Another Product
If you prefer to exchange for a different style:
- Price adjustments will be applicable
- The product must meet all eligibility conditions
- Only one exchange per order is allowed
5. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item:
- Notify us within 24–48 hours of delivery
- Share clear photos/videos of the damage
- Our team will review the issue
If approved, we will:
✅ Arrange an exchange
OR
✅ Provide a store credit / alternative solution
Damage caused by external factors or improper handling will not be considered.
6. Exchange Process
To initiate an exchange, contact us with:
- Order number
- Product name
- Reason for exchange
- Photos (if applicable)

Once your exchange request is approved:
- You must ship the item back using a trackable courier service
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is defective
- Once we receive and inspect the item, the exchange will be processed
7. Return Shipping Responsibility
Customers must bear the cost of shipping the product back to us unless:
- The product received was damaged
- The wrong item was delivered
- There is a manufacturing defect
We recommend using a trusted and trackable courier service.
8. Processing Time
Once your returned item is received and inspected:
- Exchange approval takes 1–3 working days
- New product dispatch takes 2–5 working days, depending on availability
9. Important Notes
- Only one-time exchange is allowed per order
- Custom-made dresses are strictly non-exchangeable
- Joys Boutique reserves the right to accept or reject an exchange request based on policy conditions
